GreenFoot Technologies is searching for an Senior Information Assurance/Security Specialist for one of our select Kansas City Clients.  This job is a long-term contract, contract-to-hire opportunity.  
  • Job Description
    • The installation, administration, monitoring, operation, analysis, maintenance, and reporting of the enterprise authentication and authorization system
    • Organize, configure, and deploy the Microsoft Active Directory Forest, Domain, Organizational Units, Group Policy, Security Templates, and modify the LDAP protocol and LDAP attributes for all hosted servers and enterprise infrastructure.
    • Use scripting to integrate and automate functions within the Active Directory structure and virtualization layers of the server infrastructure.
    • Working knowledge of virtual machines and virtual infrastructure technology to deploy enterprise member servers into private cloud (on premise) and public commercial cloud systems (off premise - such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS).
    • Manage a Microsoft or Entrust Certificate Authority.
    • Integrate a Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) process using Identity Management software with a Microsoft Active Directory.
    • Work with midrange, mainframe and network engineers to strengthen the security posture of enterprise systems using Authentication, Authorization, and Audit (AAA) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services.
    • Perform incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management following data center procedures.
    • Work the service request ticket queues for access, accounts, roles, digital certificates, systems integration, and troubleshooting on hosted systems.
    • Perform account management tasks on enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft, Unix, and mainframe systems.
    • Perform access control tasks on enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft, Unix, and mainframe systems.
    • Perform system, security, and application log and reports reviews following established procedures.
    • Follow internal documented standards, processes, and procedures on Mid-Range and Mainframe platforms which govern authentication, user account management and system access controls.
    • Document all aspects of the system for installation, daily operations, disaster recovery, and federal certification and accreditation requirements in the required format.
    • Provide statistical reporting to illustrate enterprise security data.
    • Draft, review and submit security policy, standards, process, procedures, and system documentation.
    • Support the technical evaluation and testing of security tools.
    • Conduct security system and documentation reviews for managed systems.
    • Analyze systems performance of new and existing equipment.
    • Provide knowledge transfer to other team members, as well as to government personnel.
    • Mainframe platform experience is preferred.
    • Experience as an application developer/programmer is preferred (PowerShell, Perl, or Python)
    Required Experience
    • Minimum 6-10 years’ experience with job related skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
    • One of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), CA Identity Manager Administrator OR CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
    • A minimum of 4 years’ specialized experience in determining enterprise information assurance and security standards. Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures. Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements. Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations. Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies. Applies know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures. Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures. Analyzes and defines security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements. Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution. Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems. Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle. Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.
    • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
